Oil, coal and natural gas are used to heat up our houses, produce electricity and power our vehicles such as cars, aircrafts, and boats. Sweden has almost completely switched to fossil-free electricity by using only nuclear, wind and hydropower. Fossil fuels are still the largest source of electricity from a global perspective.
